Ryan Beaudoin leads the Asset Allocation Team within the Advice & Guidance department of Wealth Management Advice & Solutions. He also sits on the firm's Investment Policy Committee (IPC), the committee of senior investment professionals responsible for the development and oversight of Edward Jones’ investment guidance, asset allocation decisions, financial planning advice and expectations for long-term capital market returns.
Ryan serves as Chair of the Asset Allocation Subcommittee, a subcommittee of IPC that is responsible for providing guidance on the firm's Capital Market Assumptions (CMA), Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA), Opportunistic Asset Allocation (OAA) and other asset allocation guidance for the U.S. Business Unit and the Canada Business Unit. CMA, SAA and OAA are key inputs into financial planning software used for goal planning, financial advisor portfolio systems and tools, investment management processes, and portfolio processes.
Ryan joined Edward Jones in 2019, coming to the firm with 15 years' experience in portfolio management. Prior to joining the firm, he was a portfolio manager on the Global Asset Allocation team at Putnam Investments in Boston, MA.
Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition, he is a CFA charterholder® and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Boston.
