Enrol today to text with your financial advisor's office and access additional account security features.
Texting gives you one more way to easily reach your financial advisor, receive appointment reminders, and get access to additional account security features.
For clients with Online Access, the texting program provides additional options when it comes to ensuring your account is secure.
- Security alerts - Receive text alerts for changes to your Online Access email address, password, and/or user ID.
- Two-step authentication- Receive a special code via text used to authenticate your identity each time you log in to Online Access.
In order to enrol in these security features, you must be enrolled in Online Access and have verified your mobile phone number.

Step 1: Verify your mobile phone
- Log-in to Online Access.
- Navigate to the "Settings" and select "Manage" next to Phone/Text.
- From the Manage Phone/Text screen, select "Enrol in Texting" which will appear next to any mobile number.
- Agree to the consent and click "Send Verification Code" at the bottom of the screen. This triggers the verification process for your mobile phone.
- Obtain the code sent to your mobile phone, and enter this code on the screen. Select "Complete Verification."
- Once the verification is complete, you will receive a welcome text on your verified mobile phone with a short code (an abbreviated phone number) that you can use to text with your financial advisor's office. You can save this short code to your Contacts.

Note: You can turn off alerts at any time through the Settings page > Manage link in the Alert section. You can also reply STOP to a text sent from Edward Jones. Either action will turn off text alerts as well as the ability to text with your financial advisor's office and two-step authentication.
