Edward Jones Canada reinforces commitment to communities through $100,000 donation to four Canadian charities

The donation is a component of the firm’s purpose to partner for positive impact and improve communities from coast-to-coast

TORONTO, JUNE 8, 2022 – Edward Jones Canada is pleased to announce it will donate a combined $100,000 to The Canadian Red Cross, Food Bank Canada, United Way of Greater Toronto, and the Terry Fox Foundation as part of its commitment to making a positive impact and investing in communities.

Each year, Edward Jones brings together the firm's top financial advisors for its Exceeding Conference. The conference recognizes financial advisors who have set the standard for excellence by delivering results through deep, personal, and trusting relationships with their clients.

This year, 191 financial advisors from Canada qualified and were given an opportunity to support the firm’s culture of caring by giving back to a charity that connected most to their community and values. The goal was to collectively make a meaningful difference in the local communities the firm serves, and the lives of clients, associates, and branch teams across Canada. As a result, donations have been made to the following Canadian charities totaling $100,000:

• Canadian Red Cross
• Food Banks Canada
• United Way of Greater Toronto
• Terry Fox Foundation

Each year, Edward Jones Canada employees raise money and volunteer their time to important causes supporting Canadians in need across local communities. Over the past year, they have given more than $250,000 in support of their corporate social responsibility program to a diverse group of Canadian charities.
